Jeffrey Voelkl

With an impressive career roster, and a recognized leader in the local community, Jeffrey F. Voelkl, Esq., LL.M. is the principal attorney at Voelkl Law PC. His experience in New York State law is an asset to every one of his clients.
Voelkl is a member of the New York Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association, Volunteer Lawyers Project, Aid to Indigent Prisoners Society, New York State Defenders Association, Admission to Bar Committee, Young Lawyers Committee, and Justice Court Committee. He was also elected as Village Justice for the Village of Williamsville (2003) and was appointed Acting Justice of the Buffalo City Court (2005).
Voelkl received his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in Ohio, and his LL.M. (Tax) degree from the Boston University School of Law. During his education, he worked for the legal firm of Heimerl, Keenan & Longo. He also worked for the Honorable Penny M. Wolfgang (Supreme Court of the State of New York) and the Honorable John T. Curtin (United States District Court for the Western District of New York).
Jeffrey’s general practice experience spans the practice area of Criminal Law in every Justice Court, City and Supreme Court in Erie and Niagara County. He also has extensive trial experience in felonies and misdemeanors including DWI, robbery, burglary, petit larceny, harassment, assault, and traffic matters. Other areas included in his primary practice areas are landlord/tenant and general civil litigation, business and real estate law including all aspects of real estate transactions, lease and contract drafting and negotiations, eminent domain, business and corporate formations and refinance, formation of not-for-profit entities, contract negotiations and disputes, business litigation, collections, tax consequence counseling for businesses and individuals.
